Audi instrument cluster repair

Common faults
The Audi TT (8N) cluster is one of the best-known faults in the whole VAG family: the fuel and coolant temperature gauges start reading wrong or drop to zero, needles flicker, and over time the cluster can fail completely. The fault was so widespread that Audi extended the warranty for it at the time. A3, A4 and A6 clusters instead typically suffer pixel loss in the red DIS display. The immobiliser lives in the Audi cluster too, so a repair rather than a replacement saves coding and keeps your original mileage.
